A village resident has had to call in gas engineers after recent work connecting her house back to the main supply led to a leak. Now, Margaret Stanier of 110 PE is advising other residents to do the same if they smell gas. 

‘I may not be the only one affected after they dug the road to lay a new pipe,’ she said. ‘It seems like the engineers didn’t check their work very thoroughly. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few more faulty connections came to light.’
