Memories of last year’s Jubilee Street Party

Sunday’s Coronation Street Party promises the sweet smell of success with nearly 100 residents, family and friends coming. With rain now forecast, wet weather gear will be the order of the day but the organising committee are determined not to let it spoil the event. ‘We will do all we can to keep tables and chairs dry for as long as possible said Miriam Smith, who is lending most of the furniture needed to seat the bumper attendance. The event starts between midday and 1pm and will finish around 3-4pm depending on the weather. Please bring your own picnics and drinks. The organising committee will provide a glass of bubbly for a loyal toast during the afternoon.
