November 2025
We haven’t even had Christmas yet but our busy social committee are already planning
their exciting 2026 calendar of events.
Top of the list is the return of our Safari Supper. This is held every other year and is always a popular event where residents can meet each other in their own houses over a meal.
Next year year’s supper will be held on Saturday February 7th and the organisers hope that many Piccotts End residents of all ages will take part.
How does it work?
Basically households are invited to provide either a starter or a main course for two other couples or one couple and two singles.
You won’t know who’s coming until they arrive at your door!
At the end of the starter each host will open an envelope to reveal which house you will be going on to for the main course.
At the end of the main course everyone will meet for desserts at a destination in the village which we will reveal on the evening.
For those who are not providing either a starter or a main course, they will be asked to deliver a dessert and drinks for 6 people on the morning of the Safari Supper to the organisers.
As we all live within walking distance of each other no driving is involved.
So there you have it.
What next?
If you would like to take part, either with a starter, a main course, or a dessert, please email Carole Cohen carole.cohen43@yahoo.co.uk
Please let her have your response by December 31st so she can work out whether there will be enough participants to make it happen.
