Murals to feature in TV series
Piccotts End Murals

Piccotts End Murals

The village’s medieval wall paintings were recently filmed by Simon Schama for part of a BBC2 series on “The Face of Britain” to be aired in September. Watch out for the TV series with the accompanying book and exhibition at The National Portrait Gallery.

You can see the murals for real at a series of Open Days on 11th, 12th, 13th September. More details in Events.

A web site piccottsendpaintings.uk has been created by Karen Murphy, who is the co-owner of the  cottages housing the murals. Karen says she we could do with some support to get this off the ground. If there are any volunteers who would like to help to maintain the building, or the website, or to help man the Open Days weekend, or to offer any help in any other areas, please email her, karenmurphy28@btopenworld.com
