Relief for village as town plan is delayed

Residents can breathe a sigh of relief with the news that Dacorum’s Town Plan has been delayed. The council has announced that the plan, which would surround the village with housing developments,  requires further study and review before being signed off. This could take at least two years. Garden Party postponed

The village garden party, due to take place on Saturday 7th, has been postponed. Forecasts of thundery showers have put a damper on the event and the organising committee decided it prudent to re-schedule. It will now take place on Saturday August 21st from 2pm – 6pm. All residents welcome.

New date for Summer Garden Party

Due to the delay in the easing of restrictions on social gatherings the annual Summer Garden Party has been moved to Saturday August 7th. It will take place at Marchmont Cottage and a flyer with further details will be distributed to all households in July.

Hugs and handshakes as residents reunite

Minnie found taking a cat nap!

The cat which was reported  missing from 10 Riverbank has been found safe snd sound. Minnie belongs to Melanie Mackney who was very relieved when a neighbour said she was found asleep in a bedroom where she’s got in through a window! Village mourns loss of PERA chairman

Join us for coffee & croissants

With restrictions on social gatherings being slowly lifted, the residents’ association social committee are planning a coffee morning at the Marchmont Arms on Sunday 6th June between 11am and 1pm. All are welcome for what will be the first PERA social event in more than a year.
