Village is on the radar of new Hemel speed vans

Daffodil day will brighten up our verges

PERA is planning a daffodil day in November for residents to brighten up the village. Dacorum Parks division has kindly donated more than 500 bulbs to be planted on the village verges. Residents will be notified by email of an upcoming Sunday when the bulbs can be distributed and planted.

Safari is a supper success

From cassoulet and quiche to raspberry roulade and apricot cake, the village’s cooks created some tasty treats for the Safari Supper. Twenty residents switched between houses to spring a surprise on their hosts, and vice versa, in a merry-go-round of mouthwatering menus. Yvonne plants a geranium jamboree
