PERA reports another busy year at AGM
The annual AGM in March was well attended and residents were welcomed by the chairman, Simon Lillystone, the secretary, Margaret Stanier, and the treasurer,.Harriet Twigger, who reported that PERA (Piccotts End Residents Association) finances were in good shape.
Social events included last year’s Jubilee street party and the fireworks party. This year plans were laid out for new events like the Coronation street party and a return of the popular Safari Supper. A new addition to the village was the erection of a noticeboard.
Residents raised concerns about the state of Piccotts End Road, including drainage problems, overhanging greenery on the pavements and poorly maintained verges.
