The village Safari Supper is the longest established event on the social calendar. Taking place every other year, residents volunteer to host a starter or a main course or a dessert for for a group of ‘secret’ participants. Nobody knows who’s coming to dinner until you open the door! As one course finishes, they move on to someone else’s home for the next, all finally arriving at the home of the person hosting the dessert. Otherwise known as a Progressive Supper, it has proved a popular way of meeting fellow residents. The next Safari Supper will be held in September. Watch here for details.
