The village AGM took place in March. Among the various topics discussed were plans for a Safari Supper, the Summer Garden Party and a Village Noticeboard. A burglary was reported at a house in River Bank where thieves forced their way in and stole a quantity of jewellery. A proposal for a plaque commemorating the life of the late Lord Robin Corbett, former MP, village resident and PERA chairman, was approved. Residents also heard a suggestion that the village could apply for parish status and so gain a greater voice in the community. Minutes of the AGM will be posted here shortly.
